This National Policy Brief emphasises the vulnerability of the poorest people in Senegal to shocks (such as economic, environmental or health-related), which leaves them at risk of falling back into poverty once they have escaped it. The Brief sets out policy recommendations which will help to build resilience to these shocks and support sustained poverty escapes.
