This is the second Uganda Chronic Poverty Report and much has changed in the policy context in Uganda since the first report was published in 2005. The Government has moved away from its previous Poverty Eradication Action Plans towards a wider focus on 'prosperity for all'. This report reviews progress in addressing chronic poverty in Uganda to date and recommends the policy areas that should be the focus of future poverty eradication efforts in the country.
